We woke up this morning and our German Shepherd Lilly was not doing so well. Eddie came over to help put her in his truck. We took her to the Vet and he said there wasn't much he could do; putting her down was very sad, but we are happy to know she is no longer suffering. Lilly was a gift from Santa Claus in 1999, she was left with a basket full of food and toys at our front door in Colorado. She was always a really smart and obedient dog, she loved snow and destroyed any toy we ever gave her :] It is interesting how pets become a part of the family, we are really going to miss her. |
