Utah

I am now officially a 'Ute' so I guess thats pretty cool.
I spent my first month here in Utah living out of suitcases at my Sister's and then my Brother's house.
It was a really difficult transition if I'm being honest,
and I regretted moving right away (I really hate the cold).

Eventually, after a lot of searching, I found my new Utah home.

Yes, I moved into a mansion, and I love it.
Then my car got hit by another car on the freeway and that was not fun.

Next, I got myself a job as a server at the Red Lobster.
The first table I ever served was Elder Richard Scott and his Daughter No Pressure.

So that is my life now. I realized I was being a huge un-greatful brat by being unhappy here.
I'm getting better at recognizing my many blessings.
I've been working really hard on getting good grades in school,
and also on getting fit!
I've changed my diet and started exercising regularly.
It is not easy, but it has been so worth it!
I started out at 145 lbs and as of yesterday...

I'll try to keep sharing my progress as a way to keep motivated.
I found a recipe on Pinterest for this water that supposedly helps clean your system and speed up your metabolism-
I don't care if it works or not because it tastes great and reminds me of being at a Spa.

Simply add:
1 Lemon
1/2 Cucumber
6 Fresh Mint Leaves
(I pressed the mint leaves a bit before adding them to water to get more flavor out of them)
To a big Jug of water and leave it in the fridge.
In a few hours, the water will be infused with the delicious flavors and you can drink it all day!!
It is refreshing and amazing..
**Drinking water has helped a lot in my weight-loss!! I cut out all other drinks from my diet (except Milk in my protein shakes/cereal and sometimes unsweetened tea I make at home.)

Bad.

I always try to be good at blogging,
but that doesn't always work out the way I had hoped (obviously).

I guess I left off at Christmas-
It was a wonderful one. We had dinner at Mom's house,
spent time with family (Leo and Yanting came to town)
and I got every item on this year's Wish List.
I only wish I had taken more pictures..

New Years was actually uneventful, I went to a party with some friends and had a fun time!

But before I knew it.. I was packing up my life and moving back to Utah.
It's hard to believe that two years have gone by since I moved back to Florida.
So much happened in my life and looking back, I can honestly say I became a better person from my experiences.
I often think of how much I miss my Florida life. I miss being near my family, I miss the beach, and I miss living so close to Orlando!
