Bad.

I always try to be good at blogging,
but that doesn't always work out the way I had hoped (obviously).

I guess I left off at Christmas-
It was a wonderful one. We had dinner at Mom's house,
spent time with family (Leo and Yanting came to town)
and I got every item on this year's Wish List.
I only wish I had taken more pictures..

New Years was actually uneventful, I went to a party with some friends and had a fun time!

But before I knew it.. I was packing up my life and moving back to Utah.
It's hard to believe that two years have gone by since I moved back to Florida.
So much happened in my life and looking back, I can honestly say I became a better person from my experiences.
I often think of how much I miss my Florida life. I miss being near my family, I miss the beach, and I miss living so close to Orlando!

Disney Day Trip

About two weeks ago Mom, Grandma and I went on a last minute day trip to Epcot!
I absolutely love Disney.
It's like being in another world.

We woke up early and stopped at Starbucks for some breakfast before heading down to Orlando.
We had lunch in Germany and spent the day walking around all the little stores and exploring the park.
I was most exited about starting a new Disney Pin Collection!!

After the park we stopped by Millenia Mall to pick up some Mrs.Fields cookies,
and shop at some other stores we don't have here in Jacksonville.

I had such an awesome time hanging out with my mom and grandma all day.
I am very lucky :)

Date Day

For the first time in a LONG time,
Ed had AN ENTIRE day off!
No school, no work, no appointments!!!
SO we made it a date day, of course.

It started out with breakfast and a quick stop at my school to pick up some transcripts-
and we were off to the Jacksonville Zoo!
I took a bunch of pictures with my phone, but some didnt really turn out-
But here are the best ones:

Owls

Elephants

Rhinos!

Pumba

Bald Eagle

Wolf

Some kind of Deer type animal

We got to feed the giraffes!! They were so cute and would stick their tongues way out to reach the plants.

Ed fed them too!

Jaguar
The best part (other than feeding the giraffe) was that there were tons of baby animals!!
Two baby Leopards, a baby Ape, a baby Tiger and even and baby Giraffe!
Adorable.

Then Ed and I went to the Mall, shared some chinese food and ate a cinnamon roll.
After that we went back to his new house by the beach and rode beach cruisers to Starbucks-

We rode to the beach and went shore fishing until the sun went down...

And we finished the date day with some salads for dinner and a bike ride to Joe's Crabshack-
We watched a little bit of a movie and called it a night!

We had a great time enjoying one another's company, laughing and going on new adventures!

The Month

It seems I have gotten great at reporting what I'm doing with my life monthly.
I guess it could be worse?

Okay well August has almost ended and it really wasn't super eventful.
Summer school ended;
I realized this summer flew by and I didn't go to the beach nearly as much as I should have.
Next week a new semester will start-
and I'll talk about it in another post. Later.

So here is some of what I've been up to this month, in photos:

Eddie and I go out to eat far too often- Down South BBQ is one of our local favorites!!

My roomate Cassandra graduated from UNF!! Us at her grad party.

Friends at Cassy's grad party.

We had a pizza night at my house- homemade is the best!

I hung out at aunt Patty's house a bunch and she made delicious Bolinho's de Chuva.

Now some people may find this a bit excessive,
but every month Ed and I celebrate our "anniversary."
Really, we just enjoy the excuse to treat ourselves to a fun date monthly and keep things interesting.
(Not that they aren't interesting usually)
Anyways, this month we went to another favorite, Bb's in San Marco!
The food is divine, the atmosphere is great and I love that place.
Then we walked around the Jacksonville Landing, and went to the movies.

The before and after of our AMAZING desserts!!

My beautiful gift from Ed!!!
We watched this at the end of the night.. and it was OK. I was really uncomfortable with the whole old people having sex thing haha but other than that, the movie made me laugh and cry! Meryl Streep is amazing and Tommy Lee Jones is hilarious- but I wont see it again.

I hung out at moms house a lot.

Grandma, Mom and I enjoyed a beautiful day at the Spa! We go massages and had lunch.

This was a cute movie- very predictable and sort of cheesy, but fun and uplifting.

My latest TV show addiction! Love watching the drama unfold.

I watched this with Ed the other night... Very good movie!
