Maybe out of sight.. Never out of mind

Today I miss my family. One good thing about living in Utah was getting to be so close to my Big Sister and Big Brother.
Leo, Julie and I at the Eclipse premier.

I also miss my handsome nephew, Nicholas.

Eddie was a trooper yesterday. He hung out with me and drove me around while I ran all of my errands; he even took me to my doctors appointment and waited an hour for me to be done. I had class and when I got home Ed was making me dinner!! We had delicious home-made burgers with mac&cheese on the side, and watched the movie Rango. Ed loved it, I fell asleep. He said the beginning was slow, but then it got good. I had a few good laughs while I was awake...

Life's a Beach

Friday was Date Night and we love trying new restaurants. Bistro Aix in San Marco near dowtown was this weekend's trial run. The food was not very good, but the atmosphere was really cool! The service sort of sucked too, so the bistro wont be seeing us back any time soon..

Since the food at Bistro Aix sucked, we decided not to chance it on the dessert. We made a quick stop at Wynn Dixie and bought Coke and Ice Cream!! Coke floats were a perfect movie treat, we watched Miss Congeniality (LOVE that movie; Especially since I hold my own Miss Congeniality title in the Miss America Miss Teen Utah pageant.) Anyways- it was a delicious & fun date night!

All weekend I wanted to be there..

But nothing quite beats being here:]

Saturday was a beach and mall day, and after I dropped Eddie off at work it was time for some Femme Fatale!! Cara and I met up with Josh and Iaan (all friends from work at Advanced Home Care) and had an amazing time! The show was super entertaining and our seats were fantastic (second row, what!); but the best part about this show, was that it was free! Thank you WAPE for the hook up!!

It's Britney, Bitch!

Sunday was movie day; In honor of ComicCon weekend, we went to experice the first avenger.. Captain America! The movie definitely didnt dissapoint, and the teaser for The Avengers (post movie credits) made me all too excited for next year!!!

My waitress gave me Crabs!

I like food. Ed and I love going out to eat. It was a beautiful night in Jax Beach, so we decided to go to Joe's CrabShack; We ate outside on the deck. Eddie works here, so he gets 50% OFF (all the more reason to go to Joe's!). I had the Crispy Shrimp and a yummy jar drink, and Ed had a crab steampot. The food is ok overall, but the atmosphere is great, it's cheap for us with the discount and we love eating right on the beach!

We remembered we still had all those tokens left at Dave and Busters, so we went back, on a quest for arcade tickets!! We played Deal or No Deal, and some random games that are supposed to win a lot of tickets. We ended up with 875 tickets, and left with candy and a D&B shot glass. We had a great time:)

We went back to my house and watched "How Do You Know".. Eddie loved it, I thought it was an OK movie, not a must see.

Prince Charming got a Nose Job

It is a phenomenon known as a deviated septum [abnormal displacement of any wall that separates two chambers (usually in the nasal cavity)]. Edward has one. Well, had one; untill he got a nose job! I took him to the doctors office early in the morning to get his procedure done. I think I was more nervous than he was, especially when I saw him hooked up to all the machines and IVs. The best was when they gave him the anesthesia! He kept saying "this stuff is awesome!" and telling me I looked nice (haha) it was great.. Then they wheeled him away.
Pre-Surgery, looking classy in his "cap and gown"
I think it was about 3 or 4 hours later when they came to get me in the waiting room. The procedure went well, but when I saw him I thought I was going to faint!! He kept asking the nurse when he would be able to do physical activities, he cracked jokes while he slipped in and out of consciousness.

Post-Surgery, passed out
I got him home and he pretty much just slept the rest of the day. I helped him change his gauze a lot, and made sure he took his medicine on time and didnt go hungry. It was nice taking a day off work, I got a lot done around the house; but I felt bad that he was in so much pain after the anesthesia wore off.

He's doing great and breathing better:]

Cinematic Adventures

I love movies. I love going to the movies and stuffing my face with popcorn, it's the best ever. Here in Florida every sunday is $5 movie day (usually movie tickets cost $10, yikes!) so Eddie and I go pretty much every week. This week we watched Larry Crowne (which I thought was sort of boring. It had some funny parts, but overall not entertaining and sort of pointless) and Harry Potter (awesome movie if you like HP)!!

I watched this last week, and I didnt think it was very funny. So I wouldnt recommend it (or let Ed see it, haha)
Here are some other fun movies we watched and loved so far this summer:

Saturday night Ed and I went to Dave and Busters for dinner and games! The food was terrible, but we had a lot of fun. We played basketball shooting games and Time Crisis 3 all night (our power card still has like 90 points on it, so theyll be seeing us again soon) it was awesome! On the way home, I bought a $1 Monopoly Lottery type ticket at the gas station, and won $20! It was a very exciting end to our night, and since we bought it together, we decided were going to spend the money on our weekly visit to Joseph's Pizza!

Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?

It has been a while since I last posted, and so many things have happened!

Ready for a night out at Krave Nightclub.
Monopoly Guy
My Liebchen

The first guy to ask my ID!

First, I went to Las Vegas. My first visit as a 21 year old, and it was amazing! I had the best time with my friends, and love every second of my trip. We stayed at Planet Hollywood, which may be one of my favorite hotels on the strip. It's right in the middle of all the fun on the strip, it is really clean and modern. It's a younger demographic hotel, the pools aren't bad and they have a mall right down stairs! We did a lot of walking around and shopping, we ate really great food and enjoyed hanging out and catching up. We went to a nightclub called Krave and had way too much fun.

I dedicated $10 to slot machines.
The 3 best friends that anyone could have :]
After Vegas it was Leo and Yanting's wedding! Everything was beautiful, and aside from the Bishop being an hour late, everything was perfect! It was a lot of fun; I loved being able to see my family and spend time with so many friends.

With the Groom

I took a Red Eye back home to Florida, straight to the airport from the wedding. The flight was exhausting.. Vacations are nice, but it is oh so great to be home!!
