Back to school

I had a movie date to see The Help with my family, it was such a good movie!!

Ed and I had a really fun date at a place called Yummy Sushi near the Towncenter. It was the best sushi place I've been to so far in Jax.

Tomorrow is my first day of Fall Semester and I am excited.

-Did anyone watch the VMA's last night?? Always such an awesome show... Lady Gaga is crazy (we knew that..) Kanye West is a deuche (not news) Beyonce and Jay-Z are the cutest couple ever (and she is incredible) Britney Spears' awards were well deserved and the performance in her honor was so cool. I was extremely entertained. I was only disappointed that Justin Bieber was awarded anything.

How could I forget?

Here are a few fun things I've done since spring that I havent had a chance to blog about... Starting with one of my orlando trips with Ed! I got him tickets to an Orlando Magic game; Our seats were perfect and we had the best time!

Another time, Ed took me to my very first Chicago concert at the Hard Rock!!

We went on the Fear Factor Live show at Universal Studios, and WON!! We had to drink bugs faster than the other team (it was two military guys) and we blew them out of the water. It was awesome.

My aunt Claudia and cousin Cristina came all the way from Brasil to visit! I had so much fun shopping and showing them around Jacksonville.

I became a dancer for the Jacksonville Knights!

My amazing cousins Andre and Jason left on their missions (I am so proud of them)

I made new friends and went to fun parties.

I can't believe summer is over!

If friends were flowers, I'd pick You

It's safe to say that I have been blessed with the most amazing friends in this world. The most intelligent, fun, charismatic, loving and loyal people I have ever met make my life worthwhile. Here's a post dedicated to them, to let them know publicly how much I love and appreciate them.

Stuart: I met my buddy Stu in the Miss Kulseth's fourth grade classroom.  When I think of Stu I am mostly reminded of hour long conversations we've had since we were kids; always turning to eachother to vent and talk about life. Stuart is my responsible friend, the coolest nerd I know.

Kristen: I love this girl. We met in Utah a few years back in a Sorority, and somehow became roomates, and best friends. Kristen is always there for me, she always knows just what to say to make me feel better. She's such a hard-worker! An honest and loyal friend, I really look up to Kristen. She knows who she is and stays true to herself. Oh, and she's hilarious; we laugh untill we cry all the time.

Christian: My liebchen. We met in German class in the sixth grade at Falcon Creek Middle School, and have been inseperable since. My partner in crime, Christian is fearless and always up for crazy adventures. Talking to him always brightens my day; Christian is so full of life. People love being around him. He's always up to something fun and my Liebchen is the best shopping buddy. We have enough inside jokes to last us two lifetimes and were never bored when were together.

I cherish every moment and memory I have had with these people:]
My oldest, greatest friends;
I am a lucky girl to have such incredible, life-long friendships.

Eleonor Ferraz

Mother of 5.
Grandmother of 14.
Great-Grandmother of 1 (and a half).

I love my Grandmother.
St. Augustine

Eleonor is an incredible woman. She is kind, forgiving and loves unconditionally. She makes amazing food, is always a pleasure to be around and has the youngest spirit. Grandma is a fashionista who loves to travel and shop; anyone who has been on a trip with her would agree that she is the best traveling partner. I love how healthy she is and how much she knows about nutrition; Grandma is always telling us to eat healthy:] The years she has endured and enjoyed have brough her wisdom that she always shares with me, and I am so thankful for her. I am blessed to have her as my Grandmother, and hope to be as wonderful as she is to my own grand-children one day.

Moving Day

Yesterday was Eddie's moving day.
We moved all of his things from his house in Green Cove,
to his new apartment off Gate Pkwy.
It's only five minutes away from his new job at a nice restaurant, BJ's;
And it's right by UNF!
The place is new, super nice and Ed has great roomates..
I'm very excited for him.

After all the heavy lifting, Ed brought me here for dinner; It was delicious!

Picture this

Ed and I came here to celebrate our anniversary last thursday, the atmosphere, the food, and the service were all amazing!! We stopped by a few shops on the way to dinner, this part of town was so cute! He showed up to pick me up for our date with beautiful orchids, it was a romantic night.

At the coolest comic book shop we've ever been to!
 This weekend we also:

Had breakfast here.

We had fun with friends. (and showed up matching to the party)

I ate at Joe's (again) with aunt Patty, Sarah and Stephanie.

We watched this on our Sunday movie date, and LOVED it.

We watched this during the rainy weekend, and hated it.

Ed and I cooked more than usual this weekend in hopes of making it a new habit! I made stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon, Ed made a really yummy pasta with veggies one day, and we had a BBQ on sunday night with cheesy potatoes and veggies. It was a really fun weekend :]

Just another Date on a Tuesday

Here's a fun date Ed and I went on this week...
First we went to the puppy store.
Then we went to Adventure Landing. We Mini-Golfed (I almost won) and hit balls in the batting cages.

We stopped at Sonic for Milkshakes and then watched the movie Arthur. It was really funny! We had a great time, and it was only Tuesday.
