Bring on the Fun times!

What a fun weekend!!!
Friday night Eddie, Bobby and I went to Port Canaveral.
Saturday was Kim's wedding,
my dress ripped, we got lost and were 30 minutes late
It was so awesome, we wished we were going on the cruise with them.

Next it was off to Orlando!
We had a delicious dinner at a Brazilian Churrascaria,
Ed and I stayed out at City Walk dancing all night.
Margaritaville, The Groove, and Rising Star Karaoke!!

All of Sunday we went to Islands of Adventrues and Universal Studios.
It wasn't busy so lines were really short!
Then we had dinner at the Nordstrom Bistro, shopped and drove back to the beach :)

I cannot wait for our next adventure!!

Dance, Laugh, Conquer

It is a phenomenon known as the Ellen Show.
I love it.
I record them all, and watch whenever I can with my cute cousins.

Watching Ellen always makes my day,
It is inspiring and fun.

I love Ellen and one of these days I'm going to her show!

Ed and I hadn't been to the movies in forever, so last night we saw The Debt. The movie was intense!! Really good though.

It must be Football Season

It was a lovely day for a wedding.
The twins were Ushers at their friend's-mom's wedding yesterday!
We got all dressed up, and went to NAS JAX for the ceremony and reception.

Post-Wedding celebrations/Football spectating continued at the Orange Park Ale House!
The place was packed with people watching college football and the Mayweather fight.

We rooted for FSU (on Eddie's behalf) and they lost. bummer

It was Holy War day too, and the Utes annihilated BYU. Sorry Cougs.

Go ahead, Make my day.

Today I feel lucky
(for a lot of reasons really, here are a few)
Lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
Lucky to have the best friends any girl could ask for.
Lucky to be able to get an education, and to have a job.
Lucky to know simple gospel truths and principles that help guide a happy life.
Lucky to have all of the things I need and most of the things I want.
But most of all, today I feel lucky to have an amazing family.

Yesterday was a really great day.
I woke up and ran on the beach,
worked,
then went back to the beach with Edward.

He dug a really deep hole, in an attempt to make a sand couch.
Then we made dinner.
I love when we make dinner, it's just so fun.
We had Sloppy Joe's with salad and fries! yum

Then we watched X-men, it was just as good as the first time I saw it.
Life is good :]

Dating.

Our anniversary date was so good it deserves its own post!!

Eddie took me to Ruth's Chris in Jacksonville.
Our table had an amazing view of the bridge, right on the water.
There were rose petals on the table and this "Happy Anniversary" card.

The food was perfect, service always amazing;
We talked and laughed all night.

Dessert looked like this.

Ed got me a beautiful Tiffany's necklace (a key pendant I've had my eye on for a long time.)
We ended the night with a terrible Will Ferrel movie (Everything Must Go).. but it was an incredible night.
I am a lucky girl.

Me and the Birthday Boys

One year ago, today, my friend Julie invited me to a Chi Phi Mardi Gras Party. I decided I was going last minute and I am really glad I did. One year ago today, at the party, I met Edward Bachmann. He stood by me for about 10 minutes before he introduced himself and asked me to dance. He asked me my phone number before I left the party and took a picture with me, then asked me out to dinner. The party was on Friday night, and on Tuesday morning I got the call from Ed telling me he would pick me up at 7:30 to take me to Mellow Mushroom. The rest is history. We've been through a lot, and he's been my best friend through everything. Eddie is smart, loving and hardworking; He's dedicated and the nicest, most positive person I've ever met. I'm really glad he is a part of my life!

Ten years ago, today, I sat in my 6th grade Science class when my teacher turned on the TV to see the news. On that day I learned what terrorism really was.
I learned that Evil is Real, and so is Courage.
"To New York rescue: I hear you, America hears you and the people who did this will hear from us soon." - George W. Bush

I decided to audition for my school's Forensics (speech and debate) team. Over 90 people tried, and I was one of ten to be accepted! For being on the team I get a Full Ride Scholarship!! I am really excited :]

Today my friend Cassy is moving into one of the bedrooms in my house! I am excited to have a new roomate :]
