 My fantastic weekend started with the midnight premiere of The Green Lantern! I took Jeff and Sarah along with four of their friends. The movie was great, funny and interesting; A little cheesy, but that is expected. Waking up for work was terrible (I dont know why I keep doing that to myself!) But the day went by fast... Especially since the office had a surprise lunch in celebration of my Birthday!! Everyone brought different dishes; It was so nice of them to do that!! I love my job!



Saturday night, Mom and Mack took me to a delicious restaurant in Downtown Jacksonville called BB's. The food was amazing!! We had cake at Mom's house after.



 My kitchen was decorated in Cinderella (my favorite) Princess stuff! I was in bed before midnight and when I woke up sunday morning I WAS 21!!! I went to brunch at a place called Beach Diner with Ed, in Atlantic Beach. The food is awesome, the atmosphere is pleasant and I think that is my all time favorite breakfast place. We usually go to The Players Cafe in Ponte Vedra, but this place is fun too!

Lunch at Aunt Patty's house followed.. I ate WAY too much yesterday :]

Uncle Joshua and I share a birthday, so we had a joint Birthday/Father's Day Celebration. Of course I made my mom tell me the story of the day I was born; It was nice laughing and spending time with my family. I went to the St. John's Towncenter after, walked around and Eddie bought me some awesome birthday gifts. We went to the beach for a few hours, walked and enjoyed the beautiful day. I fell asleep watching some old Tom Hanks movie and just like that, I turned 21. Ed really made it a super special day from start to finish, I'm a lucky girl!!




  I am so thankful I was able to spend my birthday with (almost) all of the people I love. I ate the best food, got the best gifts (my favorite had to be my new laptop!!), and really enjoyed my day!! Im back at work today, and will be busy all night packing because tomorrow I go to Salt Lake City!! I can't wait to see my family, and squeeze my cute nephew :]

All Dogs Go to Heaven

Needless to say, my fun day off to enjoy the beach didn't exactly turn out as planned.. 

 We woke up this morning and our German Shepherd Lilly was not doing so well. Eddie came over to help put her in his truck. We took her to the Vet and he said there wasn't much he could do; putting her down was very sad, but we are happy to know she is no longer suffering. Lilly was a gift from Santa Claus in 1999, she was left with a basket full of food and toys at our front door in Colorado. She was always a really smart and obedient dog, she loved snow and destroyed any toy we ever gave her :] It is interesting how pets become a part of the family, we are really going to miss her.

I spent some time at the Beach :)

Can't wait for Leo and Yanting's Big Day!! 

Today I won my first Chess match!

I'd say my life has been rather uneventful since I got back from Vegas... 



I watched X-Men: First Class, and loved it! True to the comics; Awesome movie. It was really fun to see how it all began.



I also watched Thor! Great movie, can't wait to see all of the Avengers together!! (if youre planning on going, stay untill after the credits, there is a sneak peek into The Avengers!!)

Only 5 more days untill I am 21. 7 days untill I am in Utah. 15 days untill my big brother is married.

News.

For anyone who doesnt know, the month of June happens to be my absolute favorite. It has already proven to be most eventful this year; and its only the second day!! Im finally turning 21 on the 19th, my big brother Leo is getting married on the 28th, and we just found out my sister Julie is pregnant!! I am so happy for her and her husband Vini, and excited for Leo and his future wife Yanting:]

I am already an aunt, to the sweetest little boy, Nicholas who is now three years old (He is growing up WAY too fast!) but I can't wait to meet the newest addition to our family, who I think will be a baby girl.

I went to the beach with Mom, it is a beautiful day!! I'll be at school and work for the remainder of my night.

Hungover.

Waking up proved to be a bit of a challenge this morning; Jeff, Eddie and I were up untill two AM watching the midnight premiere of The Hangover part II. It wasn't as funny as the first one (which is EPIC and obviously difficult to top) but we had some good laughs, and stuffed our faces with popcorn and candy!!

After what seemed like the longest day of work (6 hours Voicetracked for the weekend, 4 new commercials recorded and soundboard training completed!), Mom and I went to the Spa at the Inn and Club for lunch and to get our hair done. We had a really nice time, laid out by the pool and talked. I am grateful for my mother and her amazing example. She teaches me so much and I don't know what I would do without her guidance and support in my life!

Now I may or may not be in U.S. History Class "listening" to a lecture about early colonization (at least I know what it's about, right?)... 

Radio Star

I got really great news coming into work today.. I was recently hired at Cox Radio working as a part time voice tracking (which means I go in and pre-record my radio show) radio personality. My goal was to eventually be on the air LIVE either on the morning show, or my own segment during the day; I was hoping to get experience and good enough ratings to be promoted. I got an e-mail with the June jock schedule for 95.1 WAPE, and surely enough I AM ON LIVE THIS MONTH!! I can't believe it and I am thrilled I've been given this opportunity to move up at Cox Radio!!
