Rain

School has officially started back up (finally!)

and the tropical storm is making it rain like crazy...

which is great- I'm less tempted to be at the beach all day!

It is hard to believe my birthday has come and gone, again. 

Looking back, 21 was no cake walk.. But I learned a lot.

My birthday was a pleasant day.

I got a free birthday sub from Angie's,

spent my day relaxing,

I got my nails done,

and then had a fun birthday dinner with some of my friends at Joe's Crab Shack.

I am determined to make 22 a fantastic year, 

where I accomplish great things and find new joy and purpose in my life.

This week I also went to see Rock of Ages. It was an OK movie with pretty good music! A few awkward/unnecessary parts, and only decent acting/singing. Maybe my expectations were too high..

Celebrating

Since Tia Patty and Co. would be out of town for my birthday, 

we ended up having multiple early celebrations!

We had dinner at Seasons 52

which I would never recommend to anyone!!

But I had a nice time.

Since Tia is out of town, I am watching the kitties..

Did I mention my sister came to town?!

I had so much fun playing with this little Angel.

One of the things I missed most about living near my sister was going on movie dates with her-

We went to see Snow White and the Huntsman (FANTASTIC movie!!)

And she took me to Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, yum!

Aunt Patty also made me my favorite Dessert!!

It was gone in two days.

Summer

Surprise, surprise.. almost the end of the month and I need to catch up!

So first, a family from Brazil (The Fortunato's) came into town.
It was only a few days, but I love them.
They were so much fun to be around and I'm not sure I've ever laughed so hard!
We went to the St. Augustine outlets and bought matching shoes:

We had a yummy Brazilian BBQ:

ate so much we took a nap right at the table..

And we played games until 2AM

A little over a year ago I met Erika Grace Powell on a flight to Las Vegas 
We became instant friends!
Erika competed in the Miss USA 2012 competition
earning herself a spot in the Top 16!
I am so proud to have friends in high places, 
who push me to follow my dreams and be better!

Marriage

Last weekend Ed's older sister got married.

I joined his entire family in Amelia Island where we had an eventful weekend (to say the least)

After a really fun beach party that I set up for the family

Tropical Storm Beryl made its appearance.

The storm caused the wedding venue to be shut down by the Coast Guards...

and let me tell you- everyone went crazy!

Thankfully they were able to find a last minute location.

The wedding was fun and cute, everyone had a good time despite the terrible weather.

I was hoping people would post pictures since I didnt take any.. but no such luck! 

and I cant put off blogging any longer!!

I was forced to hang out with Eddies twin brother, Bobby.
At Starbucks, I told the lady his name was Rupert (instead of Robert.)
I thought this was very funny.

This weekends movie was MIB3, I thought it was funny,  and I even cried at the end!
Good Movie if you liked the other ones.

Las night Ed and I made Tacos!
 I made homemade guac and "Better than Sex" Cake! It was all delish.

I went to the mall today and bought these fun flats:
