Moving Day

Yesterday was Eddie's moving day.
We moved all of his things from his house in Green Cove,
to his new apartment off Gate Pkwy.
It's only five minutes away from his new job at a nice restaurant, BJ's;
And it's right by UNF!
The place is new, super nice and Ed has great roomates..
I'm very excited for him.

After all the heavy lifting, Ed brought me here for dinner; It was delicious!

Picture this

Ed and I came here to celebrate our anniversary last thursday, the atmosphere, the food, and the service were all amazing!! We stopped by a few shops on the way to dinner, this part of town was so cute! He showed up to pick me up for our date with beautiful orchids, it was a romantic night.

At the coolest comic book shop we've ever been to!
 This weekend we also:

Had breakfast here.

We had fun with friends. (and showed up matching to the party)

I ate at Joe's (again) with aunt Patty, Sarah and Stephanie.

We watched this on our Sunday movie date, and LOVED it.

We watched this during the rainy weekend, and hated it.

Ed and I cooked more than usual this weekend in hopes of making it a new habit! I made stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon, Ed made a really yummy pasta with veggies one day, and we had a BBQ on sunday night with cheesy potatoes and veggies. It was a really fun weekend :]

Just another Date on a Tuesday

Here's a fun date Ed and I went on this week...
First we went to the puppy store.
Then we went to Adventure Landing. We Mini-Golfed (I almost won) and hit balls in the batting cages.

We stopped at Sonic for Milkshakes and then watched the movie Arthur. It was really funny! We had a great time, and it was only Tuesday.

Sarah Rodrigues

Today I decided is the day I give a special shout-out to my sweet cousin Sarah.

Sarah is probably the best buddy for just about any activity. She is so cute and responsible, you would never guess after talking to her that she is only 12 years old! Sarah is smart and so talented; she plays the piano beautifully. I love hanging out with her and am so glad she is my cousin and friend :)

"The purpose of life is a life of purpose"

This weekend went by really fast! I was happy to spend plenty of time with Eddie.
He worked most of the day on Saturday, but I was busy cleaning the house and shopping! Sunday was a really fun day. We had breakfast at the Player's Cafe in Ponte Vedra (we love that place, the breakfast is always good and comes out really fast!) and then went puppy shopping! We didnt get anything, but I really want one.

We went home after a long day of stores and malls, and made dinner. Then Ed made a cake; It was all really yummy! Eddie is an awesome cook.
After dinner, it was Sunday movie night!! We saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I felt like there were too many unsolved things in the end, but it was a really great movie.
I am thankful to live near family, and to be surrounded by people I love and care so much about.

Cruisers

Serious quality time was in order for Ed and I after this weekend. We borrowed Sam & Chris' beach cruisers and went down to Jax Beach. We had lunch at Paco's Taco's; it was delicious!! It's a low key place, I recommend the Taco Salad Bowl! We rode our cruisers down the beach and then it was time for Ed to go to work, and for me to go to class!

After class I bought ingredients for home-made pizza! (I cant believe I forgot to take pictures!!) They were delicious, but mine was better; Ed even said so :]

I was exhausted, but we watched the Adjustment Bureau.. I fell asleep before it ended, but from what I saw, it was a pretty good movie!!

When you're dreaming with a broken heart...

I had a tough weekend. Lucky for me, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I decided I didn't want to have a pity party and feel sorry for myself all weekend... so I did a few fun things.
Friday: Grandma, Mom and me had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory

Saturday: I went running and shopping, I bough cute dresses and beautiful flowers for my kitchen.

I went to the beach with mom and walked and talked for hours before having a girls night at my house. (Pizza and Trash talking evil boys, haha :])

I didn't see Ed all weekend, which only made things worse:(

"Our promised blessings are beyond measure. Though storm clouds may gather, though the rains may pour down upon us,  our knowledge of the gospel and our love of our Heavenly Father and of our Savior will comfort and sustain us and bring joy to our hearts as we walk uprightly and keep the commandments. There will be nothing is this world that can defeat us. My beloved brothers and sisters, fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith." -President Thomas S. Monson.
